Rustic pine crate, with branding from John Walsh Ltd Sheffield. A rare crate, the perfect storage coffee table.

John Walsh opened a department store in 1875, retiring in 1902 which is when the company became John Walsh Ltd.

The company became a department store selling dresses, millinery, toys, stationary and more. This trunk was likely to have transported goods of this type.

Its a well made crate, with a lift up lid. We have lightly sanded and waxed, leaving a fresh clean feel.
